New Zealand's longest running and most successful film competition (17 years and counting), 48Hours is back for another year of mayhem, but with a twist.
Teams and individuals had just 48 hours to write, shoot, cut and deliver a film of up to 3 minutes long, whilst staying in their lockdown bubble.
Hosted by Madeleine Sami, this TV special will showcase the very best of the competition. You’ll hear from a panel of industry professionals, with the prestigious Sir Peter Jackson presenting his wild-card pick of the comp, and the Grand Champion will be revealed on-air and awarded a $5,000 prize!
VF48Hours: Lockdown Film Festival is made with the support of NZ On Air, The Vista Foundation and The New Zealand FIlm Commission, with broadcast partners TVNZ and The Spinoff.
